Meet the team
Matthew | Principal Designer & Founder
With a keen interest in design and construction from an early age, Matthew pursued a diverse education in construction, design, technology and engineering at University paving the way to start his career in architectural design in 2006. Here he developed his career supporting and leading projects for some of the UK’s largest volume house builders as well as bespoke developers of some of the UK’s most prestigious homes.
Looking for a more personal touch and rewarding design process, Matthew established Aspects in 2012 with the vision to provide homeowners with a personal design service to support and develop their ideas and requirements to realise their visions.
Matthew has a personal passion for creating small but beautiful sustainable and versatile spaces, this passion spills over in to his personal life where he’s always looking for his next project, having previously built a floating home, off grid living spaces, as well as volunteer housing projects abroad. If you have any plans for a new space he would love to hear from you!
Jayson | Architectural Technician
Jayson’s career in property started in 2002 as a mortgage adviser. His need for creativity led him to branch off into architectural design a few years later starting as a junior design technician for a leading design practice.
Jayson prides himself on the working relationships with clients and the importance of design and what home extensions mean to each individual within their home life.
Over the past 15 years Jayson has managed planning and building control applications ranging from individual extensions to schemes of 200 units at any one time. Jayson is meticulous about attention to detail, borderline OCD. Being a family man, he particularly understands how a home should work to suit the entire family.
Rosie | Interior Designer
Rosie has spent the last decade designing interiors across the spectrum; from 50sqm apartments to 30,000sqm workplace headquarters for FTSE 100 companies, predominantly in the UK and Middle East. With a BA Hons degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Rosie’s entire career so far has been dedicated to creating exceptional interior spaces.
Rosie has inherently mentored friends and family through interior projects, and in 2022 realised her passion to harness the creativity of her clients to achieve authentic and personal interior spaces, breaking away from the corporate world to enable her to offer 1:1 creative mentorship to ensure interior design is accessible to everyone, no matter what the budget.
For Rosie, a great interior space is not only about visual aesthetics, “It’s a narrative of the person who lives in it or the company that operates in it. It’s personal, and that’s why I love to work with my clients in a collaborative and informal way, so I can get to know you to help realise your design aspirations.”
